theater - film - voiceover
Lizzy Bies is a Northern California native, and grew up surrounded by film and theater. They got their start in acting when they played a monkey in their first grade play about the rainforest, but surprisingly, their career didn't take off from there. They got their real start doing community theater in the North Bay, with their first big role (Millie Owens in Picnic) landing them a Featured Actor nomination at the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards. Since then, they've focused on their studies, and got the opportunity to study Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.Â
Being a gender-fluid actor, Lizzy loves projects in which they can redefine gendered archetypes and characters, exploring their identity and depth.
When they're not on stage or camera, they love to do photography, write, or nerd out about Shakespeare plays.
